I hope the game gets an update that reverts BA, gives us the option to play casual, or drastically changes the concept of ranked (let servers match players like before and implement a leaderboard).
This isn’t a matter of my way or the highway but I can’t play a fraction of the games I could before. This is truly unplayable.
I’m sure other things could happen with BA that would make it fun again but it’s no good for me at the moment.
Rumor has it another CTF-based mode will come out later this year and I’ll be happy to play that.
As it stands, I’ll try Ranked 1-2 times per week until it gets better or I just won’t bother. I quit playing GW when BfN came out so that’ll be me done until further notice/improvement.

@spIash_damage I have had many issues with Ranked BA over time. I always have to change region when searching for a game, just to find a game. Even during busy times of the day in-game. I really anticipated this mode and was happy to try it. It's very hard to rank up, let alone find a game a lot of the time. Even some times when a game is found, people has left before it has started, and then we wait (and players start leaving). As much as I do like this new mode, there are so many issues so it's hard to just pretend there's nothing wrong with it. The developers, by my opinion, should either: fix ranked, remove ranked (at least until it has been fixed up) or add the normal variant of BA as an option as well as ranked. I thought that by adding ranked BA, you would still have the option to do regular BA as well. I was wrong. I've also had teams that party up as well, which makes it much more difficult to play.
Hopefully all the issues with ranked BA will be sorted out soon! 🤞
@spIash_damage, sounds like you're just as dissatisfied as I am.
We have completely different reasons for quitting BFN after all the dissatisfaction we individually got. Mine was due to the development team refusing to take my concerns seriously enough (not prioritizing solo/private play, and not reinstating the original level cap); yours is due to the unfairness of ranked battle arena which, I can't say much of because I've never actually played a full session of battle arena and I left BFN long before it even took effect.
One veteran players leaves, another follows suit. Could this get any worse?

1.) You can't play with 3 other trusted friends that know exactly what they're doing with mics that don't leave, go afk, and lose connection mid-game?
OR
2.) You keep getting put on Plants with three other children that don't know 10% of what they're doing and losing to (the unbalanced) E-Slide, Super-Brainz and Imp + Co-Star combo?
I would like Popcap and EA to improve BA Ranked by implementing a FULL-SQUAD REQUIREMENT before finding a game. Honestly, I DON'T CARE MUCH ABOUT THEM ADDING A CASUAL GAME MODE, but if they do, IT'S ONLY GOING TO MAKE THINGS WORSE BECAUSE PLAYERS THAT ENJOY PLAYING RANKED WILL ONLY FIND THEMSELVES HAVING LONGER QUEUE TIMES and because of this, MORE PLAYERS WILL PLAY THE CASUAL GAME MODE AND LESS OF RANKED, WHICH WILL RESULT IN KILLING BA RANKED.
The reality is, MOST PLAYERS THAT PLAY THIS GAME ARE YOUNG and they don't know what they're doing in most of the time in online matches, ESPECIALLY IN RANKED.

@Joseph2004045 I can care less about winning all the time. I HATE waiting so long. I used to play 5-10 matches per hour. Now, I could play 10 matches in 6 to 8 hours, if I’m lucky.
