Running addition background apps?: YES, but I did clean boot so the background apps is not the problem in this case
What have you tried so far?: 1) Uninstall and reinstalled the game
2) Run Origin and PVZ BTN as administrator
3) Run a clean boot
4) Deleted all of the cache in Origin Folder
5) Updated the GPU drivers until the latest (436.15)
6) Tried to use a new Temporarily Account (Windows)
7) Disable the Origin in-game Overlay in the Origin Launcher
8) Made sure that Origin and PVZ has access to Windows Firewall
9) Reinstalled the Drivers
10) Tried repairing the game
11) Made sure my internet is working correctly
Provided details on the crashed moment: I press play in the Origin application. A loading screen pops up showing EasyAntiCheat etc. After its done loading the screen... it goes away. Then a
black window appears for like 2 seconds and crashes. Immediately it brings me back to Origin.
NOTE: I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Origin launcher. Last year I build a new computer. I downloaded Steam and I could play games very well on that launcher. I noticed that not all of the games is on Steam but also Origin. I then downloaded Origin to be able to play other games to. I finished downloading the game and want to go in Origin.Origin just popped up with a white window and nothing happened. I tried a lot of things and nothing worked. Now a year later I tried to do the same things in hopes to make Origin work. Just last week I tried again uninstalling and reinstalling Origin and deleting the OriginThinSetup.exe file and it FINALLY worked. I was so happy that I could finally get games on Origin. I installed Apex. For some odd reason it didn't want to launch. I just thought it is one of a bug and the Company still needs to fix that. Then last week I also found out that a new PVZ Game came out. I was so happy because I was addicted to GW1 and 2 so I couldn't resist not buying this awesome looking new GW game. After downloading it, the game keeps on crashing after the loading screen. I tried over and over, but nothing works. Then I came here in hopes of getting this game to work. You won't believe how happy I would be if I get this game to work. I would be very thankful. That's why I am scared to uninstall and reinstalling Origin. I hope it makes sense.😳
