@Iron_Guard8 Yeah Rux should allow non-legendary items at least to be purhcased for coins. Don't really see many players opening their wallets to get an Emoticon. Also I'm fine with the new character thing, it's not optimal but it's acceptable imo. That's because 500k coins can be earned in 1 to 2 weeks. And for a new player who has got all the PvE regions and 20 characters to play around with, eh it's fine. That said, since characters are free both ways, we can see that Popcap aren't trying to really monetize them. So I say that after 6 months, a character should be free for everyone, no grind required. That way new players won't be intimidated by a third of the cast being locked behind in-game currency.
Great point about Grand Master levels. I was thinking of posting just about that. Having got all characters to Master now what is the point. It can't be beyond the imagination to give some reward such as a 1 bulb for every grandmaster promotion plus 100 stars for getting to level 5? Wouldn't hurt the business model one bit and would make a big positive difference to us players.
Also how about a discount on items in rux for characters you have at GM 5? The possibilities are endless. Come on Popcap, do.... something.
For the new characters I don't mind a bit of play time having to be put in to earn them. But maybe a new character should be in the middle of the map with super duper outfit at the end? That way more people can at least get their hands on the base character.
