Warning massive rant ahead about bfn. Seriously why the [Removed by CM] would popcap take multiple steps backwards from what was enjoyed in the series.The only thing they have improved on in bfn is pve areas, but even then if you like private play with bots popcap just had to go and screw you over harder than a screwdriver and has to constantly remind you how good the ai is in weekly game modes. Most of the new content has been nothing but cosmetics where you have to put in Destiny levels of grind to earn all of it in a month. Once you complete the pve areas they just become grinding zones with little replay value. Bfn makes no innovations with the series besides gameplay changes and battle arena but besides that we have no new gamemodes from previous games or new ideas that arent put in weekly timegates.

@stukapookaThey released the game untested and underdeveloped. But I believe Popcap can pull through if they consistently listen to community feedback and update the game with content and fixes at a satisfying pace.

Bfn is a disgrace to everyone who enjoyed gw2 and is an endless grind.

@stukapooka I had played GW2 for a long time and I didn't know about BfN and its release until during the first week of Founders'. When I started playing BfN, I was concerned because it only had cosmetics and there were not much to explore. The game has only improved since then and they've begun adding new characters (upcoming) and legendary upgrades (which can provide a competitive advantage). There's not as much time involved in levelling up your characters in BfN, but it still takes quite a long time - especially since the additions of Grandmaster levels. There's so many things that didn't get added into BfN, like Community Challenges and Infinity Time, and what happened to the Ops, but hopefully some of these GW2 content gets implemented into BfN! 🤞😃

There is also the lack of private and solo matches and I am glad that wizard is coming it just feels like so much more should have been in at launch and not just feel like diet gw2 and even then the grind is still pretty bad.

GW1/2 are the GOATs. BfN took a different path and unfortunately it doesn't come close to its predecessors. Still, people like the game so no point in making this complain posts mate.

BfN needs work for certain. Ops in particular need a lot of work and I miss the bots we had in GW2 (although GW1 never had bots at all). The free roam regions need more stuff to do so we want to go back to them more often and having bot matches would be great.
The prize map doesn't feel all that bad I keep getting bulbs just for playing, whereas some other games force you to very specific things to advance the battle pass. There were many people that felt that GW2 was very grind heavy and made that point on the forums many times and other shooters like this are often worse. It would be better if they reduced the number of bulbs in the map though, that Chomper skin this month should not have been 20 bulbs as one example, and some of the rewards aren't exactly thrilling (like slabs and punchers).

@Pheesley Yeah it's just kinda dissapointing to me and many others that they would do this when it really dosent make sense to take such a large step back with the feature but still add battle chests that tease people with the possibility of good matches with ai in game.

Totally agree, like i play at themost an half hour a day Neighborville, just to do the daily challenges and as soon as i made it i get back to Garden Warfare 2.
That's not right, should be that Neighborville was so good that i don't even wanna play GW2 anymore.
I really hope that we will get news about Garden Warfare3 someday.
The developers just need to accept that Neighborville did not worked out as they would have liked it to be.

@MrKritiek Yeah I get bfn not wanting to be gw3 and thats not a bad thing on paper, but I remember as somebody put it: it feels like innovation made due to overwatchs popularity where before hand we had a multi inspired kind of does its own thing shooter but know it just feels off outside of the new characters, besides pve areas it feels like solo and private play options were completely neutered and if I wanted PvP only I would just go back to gw1. Playing founders I went in so hopeful but besides battle arena I kinda just went "that's it that's all you done to innovate game modes" and the state turf launched in having to be downgraded to 8v8 along with mixed modes reducing player amount when no previous game had this problem with so called limitations kinda speaks for itself for what the state was when this game released.

@Pheesley I think Popcap only pays attention to the community on matters of playability. And even then it's limited. They pay no attention to things the game has needed and wanted by the community since founders. Topics like solo/private play,(which by the way was promised to us with 24 player private play) ROT9000 empty and the rainbow star and bulb mess. It is unfortunate but they don't even view their own EA message board, (us). They are making positive changes to the game that will bring me back for a few weeks but is it too little too late? I wish the game was more like GW2. ☹️

@FootSoldier9908 When did they promise it I would like to know, but thankfully they have listened to requests of increasing rainbow star gains in weekly challenges. I agree on reward o tron though it needs some love.
