Black Screen Battle of Neighborville

When i start up Plants vs Zombies Battle of Neighborville instead of starting the game it black screens all audio in the background becomes distored and corrupted and all thats left is the games sound, i am unable to do anything, click, press buttons, anything except Alt + f4. I will provide the DxD file, Please help me.

    Hi, possible fix below!

    I generally have a problem with EA games not starting, FIFA, Battlefield 5 and now alike you, PvZ. 

    Luckily i have a fix which works for me, check your Services for "AsusGameFirstService" and disable it.

    The ASUS service seems to conflict with a lot of EA games for me. 

    If this doesn't work, the next thing I'd recommend is to stop all the 'Unnecessary services' that are running in the background that you don't need running, and try running PvZ again. 

    Hopefully this works for you.

    @iluminatethesky Hello...i already done as u said,but it still doest work for me..is there any new solution tht u can help me in this matter?

    @Night_RaiDx,

    The only other thing(s) I can suggest would be to repair the "Picnic" file in the EasyAntiCheat Setup, and run Origin and Battle for Neighborville as Administrator.

    1. Repairing "Picnic": Go to the location where Battle for Neighborville is installed. Look for the EasyAntiCheat folder, and open the EasyAntiCheat Setup file. Select "Picnic" from the drop down box, and click Repair.

    Once that's done, run Origin as administrator, repair the game files, and launch the game again.

    THIS SOLUTION IS WORKING GUYS!

    Solution 1 :

    a. Close origin properly.

    b. start the game with admin permission ( If  not work then close the game with task manager and again run with admin permission)

    c. Do this until a white screen with popcap not shown.

    This solution helped me.

    Just signed in to reply to say thanks this fixed the black screen hanging for me! (Picnic repair).
