Bonus Sticker Packs Missing from Mail/Vending Machine

In Garden Warfare 2 for PS4, I had loaded in for the first time, and there were a number of bonus sticker packs in my mailbox.  I did not open them all at once, because I wanted to explore the hub area.

The packs are gone from my mail, and they are not in the vending machine.  Are these just gone because I didn't open them right away?  This is a really poor system if they simply disappear like this.

Really disappointed in this, and it makes me want to uninstall the game and move on to something else instead.
