Bug or hack this issue needs fixing

This is the second time I lost a star after the win screen sticks when a player "disconnects" to cheat a loss. It is beyond me how the game could trigger a lost star when it says you have won. And you know when a player is doing it - quick to play and then staring at very little life and a hopeless board. It is hard enough ranking only to lose when you have won.
