I'm curious why the cacti keep seeing nerfs. I never see them in the top and they seem very difficult to play. As a zombie I feel like cacti are easy kills, as a plant I feel like cacti are way to hard to play. Is there something I am missing? Cacti seem to be gettings nerfs every single patch.
Frankly, I'm curious about this too - especially the reload nerf....as well as the sudden future cactus nerfs.
Also, They also seem to have nerfed some of the deadbeard variants as well.
I will say I consider my main on the plant side to be the cactus. I am mastered with most of them at this point but as mentioned, I could go on some awesome vanquish streaks with the future and fire cactus as I was leveling them up. If played right, the cactus can be a terror to the zombies. I don't feel like they get played frequently by the plant players, but in the right hands, the cacti can be downright nasty. My guess is, as @xxSe4l-MLG420xx mentioned above, they are probably going straight from game statistics to justify the nerfs...however I'm still not happy about them.
To be honest.
I never touched Cactus before reaching a good amount of hours in this game.. as i feel a free-kill before knowing perfectly the game and i needed to adress my aim.
Now that i'm more aware of the game i do good streaks and have a good K/D with him.
Still i can't get many times the podium or even the top-scoreboard :V even when i play the best.
I think they just check data and act according to those... they actually see invisible things?
if i had played cactus when i was noob i would probably lowered those stats, instead i played Peashooter, because he's more friendly.
I think they shouldn't just watch the data but understand those.
I think Cactus and All.-star are classes that are played for the most by a smaller group of dedicated persons. :v

Not really, well, at least in the first game. Cactus really isn't some MLG noscoper, she is pretty simple and easy to play (ignoring Camo Cactus). But they've been forgotten almost entirely because everyone wants to play the new classes still.
I'm really surprised cactus even got a nerf. Considering the general opinions about him was either him being fine or outright needing a buff.
A future cactus nerf is at least justifiable as he's one of the best,if not the best cactus variant. But all the other cactus nerf there just uncalled for. Highlight include jade cactus,which got yet another nerf despite that literally everyone said that he didn't even needed the nerf from part 1 at the first place as well as camo cactus which not only got absolutely destroyed by the nerf but also was frequently in the talk for a buff (he can not longer 2 shot 125 hp class with two headshot,which was pretty much vital for him to do well considering his slow fire rate and low ammo count).
At least power cactus got a buff. He did needed that.
