Can I play solo multiplayer like in garden warfare 2?

I don’t have Xbox live because the only time I play is when my friend comes over every week so it wouldn’t be a great investment. When we used to play GW2, we could play together in solo multiplayer without needing Xbox live. Can you do this in Battle for Neighborville?

@FuryFSHG Sorry, no you can’t do that in BFN I’m afraid. Unless you do the battle chests in PvE regions! In that case you should not need Xbox Live Gold. I play on Xbox on split screen so it should work for you. I hope this helps you, by the way there’s a possibility that PopCap will add a physical Solo/Private Play feature in the future. Hope that answers your question! 🙂

The only option is the PvE regions and battle chests (also located in PvE regions) for solo or private play.

As @TheSprinter85 points out, only in the battle chests in the free roam regions at this time. I use those often to complete certain character challenges as it tends to be easier against the AI rather than players.

me too, in GW2 I loved playing solo or with friends in garden ops

This is why gw2 was so much better. Plants are so weak in terms of health and tanks and not even a lot of playing options. I play on pc and the only active lobby I find is obviously turf

I think bfn is easily better, what do you mean? There’s MORE playing options because there’s more plants and way more content. What do you mean weak? Everything has the same health as it did in GW2.
