Can not host group in split screen
We have a group of 4 that have enjoyed playing pvz2 together and would like to move to bfn. Currently we can not combine groups because both groups are split screen. Is this going to be addressed in am update?

@ljackf I'm a common split-screener, I play often with my brother on split-screen. I've heard that you can do this feature, you may need to check your settings on both of your consoles. The other thing is that this game currently has no cross-play so if you are playing on different consoles (Xbox One and PS4) you can't do this. You may want to check your settings on your consoles anyway, and each person's account settings, in case there is a restriction preventing you from all playing together. I hope that helps your concern. If this is not a feature you can currently perform, then I hope that the developers implement it in the future for you! 🤞🙂
Both groups are on Xbox. When we try to combine the groups by joining one or the other we are told that we cannot because they are in split screen and can not host. It Appears intentional since you can not join a player already in the group via split screen.

This seems like a bizarre omission.

- @GentlemanYeti I don't actually think that it is possible to host a group in split-screen. I also believe you cannot join others in BFN while in split screen, unless you join only one other player. It seems very weird to me, but I believe that is the case. Hopefully this does change at some point.
- @GentlemanYeti No, that this was a separate issue became apparent later on.
Having split-screen for the PvE regions was a big improvement on GW2 though, where you could only complete Backyard missions solo.
Realistically, unfortunately this is unlikely to change as dev support for BFN was dropped last year & even were it to resume, I think other issues would be more of a priority.

Dang. Thanks for the responses, guys. My wife and I are always looking for games to play online with another couple we game with. So when this went on sale this week on PSN it seemed like a perfect choice so we grabbed it only to be met with this issue.
Incredibly disappointing. - @GentlemanYeti I do find this issue really annoying as well, once in split-screen, I tried to join with another split-screener, and the game would not let us. They also tried to join us and they reported that it did not work.
