Can we finally get falloff ?

What is falloff:

Falloff is a way of limiting characters to play on a specific range to be the

most efficient. This allows a distinciton, as not every character will be 

very efficient longrange, and every character has a specialisation.

Why do we need falloff;

This limitation allows characters to play at a specific range and be the best at it.

A character like slide is designed for medium to long range play, but she can still

* a cactus from sniper range. Another example is imp who theoretically is a close range character,

but due to the lack of falloff there is no proper insentive to close the gap and he will just spam long range.

The same goes for most characters (Nightcap,Imp,Peashooter,Soldier,Corn etc)

Spread and recoil wont fix this issue, as both arent implemented in a strenght at wich they would need to be to be efficient.

Yes I know, that recoil feels worse on controllers, but this is exactly why I want falloff.

It doesnt impact how the game feels while limiting a character perfectly fine.

Wouldnt that make melee characters op ?

No it wouldnt, as everyone else would still be able to shoot them from afar and while

they wouldnt get vanquished as fast, they would still take more dmg the closer they get, wich means that

they still need to play the surprise game to really be efficient.

Wouldnt Falloff make snipers op ?
No it wouldnt. Taking on a sniper directly from the front is something that shouldnt be possible designwise

and since BfN manages sightlines pretty well there will always be a way to flank a sniper trough a different sightline 

and even then outsniping them is also possible as a counter.

Falloff is implemented in basically every shooter and the decision of the devs to not add it hurts the games balance
