Can you get abilities from packs?

Can you get abilities from packs or can you only get them from rux?

Just asking

    Unless I'm remembering incorrectly (and if I am someone please correct me), you can get some of the abilities in packs; like the Soldier rocket leap, Sunflower rainbow heal beam, and all the old alternate abilities from GW1 should be available in packs in GW2. New abilities, barring the ones you get from the deluxe version of the game (like bigger, better, butter), are all from Rux.

    I can't be 100% sure on the old abilities as I had unlocked them in GW1 and transferred them forward to GW2, but I believe the packs do have them. If anyone can help confirm or deny this, let us know!

    I just took a closer look and realized that this list is old and incomplete.  These also can only be gotten through RUX.

    Missing are bling iron maiden, bling gatling, multi-shuck, bling pylon mech, bedazzled bolt blaster, bling barrel, future dummy, and future parrot.  Did I miss any more, anyone?
