Can't activate On the House game

I downloaded the on the house game Plants vs Zombies and when I try to play it tells me: That the game could not be activated and that I should activate it using the Origin account. I tried using the product key that I found in game details and it tells me Activation Completed and Launch Now. When I press Launch now I go to the begining. As I understood these games are free and I don't have to buy it.

You can open your eyes or put on corrective vision devices to read the top announcement in the Answer HQ sidebar area.
