I think the challenge system is a nice addition to the game, but probably should've rewarded coins rather than being the only way to level up your character. A traditional exp system would've been the best route for leveling up. That being said, I receive challenge skip cards pretty frequently from 20k coin packs and those will help you along with the more annoying challenges.
I'm fine with challenges, as long as they don't effect gameplay. Some of these challenges though, like destroying a teleporter... it's a challenge just to find one, let alone take one out with a sunflower. Or the drone vs drone challenges. I often go many games without a single zombie drone to be seen. Then I'm often in the wrong loadout that needs those drone vs drone kills.
I'd much prefer kill x of each type of plant or zombie to level up. At least then you're doing what you should be doing... killing each other, not doing a scavenger hunt during a match. It's counter-productive towards the goal.
I'm pushing through my early challenges and trying to unlock characters, first. So haven't bought that many 20k sticker packs.

That's what the skip cards are for, if you find a challenge that you don't think you can handle, skip it. The teleporter one is easy though, if you know where they are. Plus if you're fidning that you can't complete a challenge in one session, change classes and work on something else. You don't have to stick with the same class through the whole game.

I don't have skip cards, therefore that point is null. Also, as you said, it's easy... if there is one made. Why would I waste a skip card... even if I had one, on an easy challenge to complete... as long as it's able to be completed.
The thing is, at certain levels... challenges all seem to be similar. So it's essentially bottlenecked at trying to level up all your characters for achievements... all characters at level 5 and reaching rank 50.
Anyways, the point is that the challenges distract you from the objectives of the playlist.

You can pick up skip cards easly in 10k and 20k card packs, if you're playing you're earing coins and can get skip cards. My scientist is level 9 and I didn't have to deviate from any goals to get him there (now all of my challenges are for getting post-game "master" medals...), I generally try to kill teleporters to help the team, or heal/revive every chance I get. Most of the challenges come naturally and those that don't encourage you to play a little differently to complete.
I understand your concern, I personally like them and it gives me reason to play all the classes in ways I normally wouldn't like killing zombies on rooftops and a sunflower, now that takes patience.
