Chili bean bomb disappearing?

Playing on the 360, my chili bean bomb disappears in the Cactus Canyon map when trying to stop the golf ball cart.  Is this happening to anyone else?

How close are you deploying it? How many times have you seen this happen? Havent heard of this one yet 🙂

It's happening very frequently.  I thought maybe because the bomb was getting squished under the wheels, but then it happened far behind the cart.  It only seems to happen when I'm close to the cart.

    It's kind of annoying.

  • There is a large deadzone for deployable items around the cart. It will destroy any heal stations/Spike weeds/imp punts/etc that are placed/launched in the vecinity of the cart.

Well the cart destroys all player-dropped objects like potato mines/walnuts that come even remotely close, could it be that dropping a chili bean right next to it is just automatically extinguishing the bomb as well? They probably made the cart blow up anything near it so the zombies can stand a chance instead of stepping on mines that roll under the cart or objects that obstruct the path.

Same thing seems to happen if there is a heal station deployed in the garden. Me and a buddy of mine lost both our bean bombs to heal stations being there when the bean went in.
