Unable to log in to play Garden Warfare

Im trying to log into my EA account when I boot up the game and it sends me a verification code to verify it’s me. I put in the code and press continue and literally nothing happens, like there isnt even an error response it’s like I didnt even press confirm. The only thing that works is going back and trying again. Is there any way to fix this or is the game just broken on ps5??
