@GammaX6 Thanks for the post. Do you know if it's more likely to happen in certain circumstances, like when you're using certain skills, or a big chaotic fight is nearby?
Thanks.
@EA_David It usually happens around the objective and not in flank routes where there are fewer enemies around. So it can happen around chaotic fights, mostly. It's as if the game can't process all sound effects so it ignores some.
I will continue to monitor the situation and take videos. I assumed it was a network issue at first, but when I saw it visually happening, I ruled that out since my client received the animations but did not process the sound effects.
Thank you for replying,
I hope others could help by sharing similar experiences.

It happened to me 2 other times. Both weren't in chaotic situations.

There is another issue with Peashooter's Chili Bean sound effect, you can notice it in the video above but it's more noticeable in the video below. Focus on the Peashooter on the right side and you'll notice how the audio can cut off at certain times or is just "too low" for a hero that is "too close", making it difficult to hear it properly.

Unfortunately, the audio system is an unreliable source of information. I will continue to post other anomalies when possible.
Thank you for reading again.

Thanks, these seem like pretty solid examples.
It's probably not a factor, but are you playing on a base PS4 or a Pro?- 6 years ago
I apologize for the late reply. I play on PlayStation 4 Pro with super-sample mode enabled. So, the game renders at higher resolutions on a 1080p monitor.
This issue hasn't occurred in 8v8 Turf Takeover yet.
