Chomper Character Challenges

Tips for Acorn character challenge-

~For the role for damage challenge, you have to hit multiple targets with one role for damage. I found ops to be very useful for this, as there are sometimes very large groups of weak zombies and role for damage regenerates relatively fast.

~For the sap trap vanquishes, I played a lot of PvP and PvE and used upgrades that help sap trap recharge faster. There is an upgrade that makes sap trap recharge faster if it doesn't deal any damage, and I found this useful for missed shots. I didn't use oak's sap trap for this challenge, as his trap recharges waaayy too slow.

~And for the land hits and earn experience, I started a battle in PvE and just used acorn and not oak, as his rate of fire is much faster.

I'll admit, I wish they did something with a challenge that would border along working together with other acorns, such as healing oak blank times. For some reason I cannot remember what the last challenge was... I'll get online soon and update this later.

@PineapplePiano I just completed all of Acorns challenges and these tips are spot on for someone wanting to get it done quick. The one that took me the longest was the Roll for Damage, since hitting multiple targets (3 or more) does take some good aiming and timing skills. All the other challenges were fairly easy and completed it in 3-4 Garden Ops matches. 

I’ll do Chompers challenges next since they seem to be fairly easy. Thanks for the tips! 

@PineapplePiano and All:  I'm visiting the forum tonight specifically looking for tips on the Acorn/Oak Character Challenges and found mention of it here. I was able to complete 4 of the 5 challenges but I'm unsure of how to get the assists required. I was somehow able to achieve 1 assist in a Town Center battle chest game of suburbination and I believe 1 from a general Town Center battle. That's it:  2.  Whenever I think I've provided assistance or shared a vanquish, the count doesn't change.  I'm not sure what I need to do. Any tips on how to best handle this assist challenge will be greatly appreciated. ~  Rose

@BabciaRosie  I will make full character challenge guides for all characters, on this forum, from next month and onwards, for people who need help completing them. That's totally fine! 🙂

For Space Cadet, I also needed vanquish assists. I play on Xbox and on split-screen, so we help each other getting assists on heroes by the person trying to get the assists get one or two low-damage shots on the hero that we're targeting and the other player gets the vanquish to give the first person the assist, and rinse and repeat. You could try doing this in PvE, or Ops, use your pots or bots to do most of the damage. In PvP, try and simply shoot at everyone a few times each and hope that your teammates can earn you assists. 

It's most likely that the reason that this challenge is implemented for Acorn and Space Cadet is because the game wants you to team up with Oaks and Space Stations as a passenger and get assists that way, so you could try that in PvP if they are Oaks or Space Stations present on your team, or in PvE with a friend or in split-screen.

These strategies can also apply to the Acorn/Oak, try to do low damage to each enemy when there are allies around you to get that vanquish for you! 😃
