class guides: infiltration units.

if the enemy has a pretty good defense, or is capturing an objective, you need to do your Solid Snake impression, sneak in, and take them out from the inside. there are two units that can either infiltrate undetected, or rush past enemies and unleash a devastating attack. these classes are Nightcap and 80's action hero.

Nightcap can turn invisible and go behind enemy lines. use Casting Shadows and then Fung Fu to eradicate enemies in the objective, giving the team a chance to either capture the objective, or defend it. just like pressure units, this will have no effect if the nightcap is the only one attacking.

80's can not go invisible, so he must find a path that is not guarded and start with Dynamite Dodge, followed by Rocket Ride. this will give the team a chance to capture or defend the objective. just like Nightcap, this will not work if 80's is the only one attacking. I debated on whether to put 80's or Slide here, as both can infiltrate and unleash devastating attacks from within. I decides that slide is a crowd control unit that can infiltrate, and not an effective infiltration unit.

    If I need to go at a group diagonally as a Z, I'll usually try Soldier, and find somewhere I can hop up and sneak around. An unexpected ZPG is a great initiator too.

    I'll try out 80s for sneaking around, I normally just use him at medium range and use the dodge to, well, dodge.

    i should clear what an infiltration unit is: a class that is effective at going behind enemy lines and unleashing an ability that can clean out a room. like fung fu or rocket ride. there are other classes that can do this (i flanked a group of plants at the entrance to the fort in goopy gully as scientist and wiped the floor with them) , but they are completely different classes. the reason i put 80's as an infiltration unit is because of duality regarding classes. nightcap is an infiltration unit, so the zombies need one too. an infiltration unit does not need to rely on stealth to clear an objective. they only have to zip past an enemy to infiltrate.
