Before you say anything else, my list is not boring, not terrible and I did not lose sight of the idea. I named these characters simply because there are a lot of areas of the game that lack in many departments.
Plasma Characters are intended to cause plasmic damage to enemies, with plasmic DOT (damage overtime) that's in between fire DOT and Toxic DOT.
Nec' or Jinx Characters are intended to make the enemy more vunerable to weapons fire.
Vampire Characters are intended to regain their health by landing their shots directly at enemies (some characters have different ways to regain health).
Sonar, Submarine, Scanner etc. Characters are designed to see their opponents through walls or any other obstacle, after they are tagged by the primary weapon of a Sonar-related character. Technique borrowed from Scuba Soldier.
Dark and Shadow Characters use dark energy to raise their rate of fire. Directly influenced by Shadow Flower.
Stuffy Characters can make sundrops or braindrops appear after vanquishing an enemy.
Mystic Characters have powers that are so mysterious, that everyone else can't decipher how they work. Influenced by Mystic Flower.
Alien Characters are designed to confuse the enemy with spore clouds surrounding the enemy. If that enemy becomes completely shrouded by the spore cloud, they'll be unable to use their abilities for a few seconds. Technique learned from Moto-X Star.
Future Characters have radically-futuristic powers that can be charged up between 3 power levels.
Camo Characters have a Drastically Enhanced Zoom, but a longer reload time. For some characters, it can also do double damage on critical hits. Camo Rose however lets her shots lock-on to enemies from further away.
Pharaoh Characters are mummified characters that fire in three-shot bursts at enemies; Chomper Pharaoh can spit out mini-goops at enemies in a similar manner.
Characters that are named Officer, Sheriff, Law, Mob, Cowgirl, Cowboy etc., are intended to be law-enforcement characters that obeys the Law, or abuses it.
Characters with Rock, Armor, Metal, Iron, Ironclad, Knight etc., are Armored characters with higher health and slower movement speed.
Disco and Party Characters can move faster and do more damage if their Disco Mode meter or Party Time meter is engaged.
Characters with 911, 912, 914/6, 917K, 918 etc. pay homage to past and present cars made from Porsche. It doesn't mean those characters can be cars; the design on these characters is simply intended to pay tribute to the Stuttgart car mmaker. To celebrate the end of the EA-Porsche Exclusitivity agreement. Can be unlocked through player loyalties.
There will be a point later on when I can properly explain the function about each of the new characters, as well as the current ones, but that'll be through episodic threads overtime.
