Connection to EA servers timed out.

I am trying to play Garden Warfare 2. I keep having the error message 'Connection to EA servers timed out. Please check your network connection and try again later.' I have tried restarting the console, reinstalling the game, three different internet connections (two wireless, one wired) and nothing works. The game runs fine on PlayStation, PC and another Xbox but just not mine.

    Hi there, @AJTSpace 

    Thanks for reaching out about this. We'll go through some troubleshooting and try to get you connected. First, I'd like you to power cycle your equipment with the following steps: unplug your modem/router and console. After 2 minutes plug in the modem/router. Let them come back online completely. Then plug in your console and start it up.

    If that doesn't help, try clearing the alternate MAC address with these steps:

    Go to your Xbox Settings
    Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
    Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear"

    Let me know what happens.

    Tried all the different ports still same issue on Xbox. It use to happen once in while but now it’s like every day it doesn’t connect to the EA servers. What is wrong?

    Check the Steam discussion boards for BFN, EA- this same issue is happening to a lot of people.

    This has happened to me for 2 days. I can play every other EA game I have other than pvz garden warfare 2. I’ve tried everything and nothing has worked

    I'm having the exact same issue, I've done everything step by step and nothing is working, this has been going on for about a week at this point, please help I'd like to play the game.
