I am disappointed that scientists in general haven't received a nerf, given how often I see scientists get kill/assist badges today, but I'll definitely wait and see how the targeted changes to scientists and the sunflower buffs affect the balance before forming a final opinion. I am happy to see that scientists got nerfed, in addition to Electrobrainz and turbo twister, but sad that I couldn't read the notes correctly the first time.
In general it's clear the team put a lot of work into this patch, and put some serious thought into the balancing. That's great to see; thanks! I was also happy to hear there's work being done to improve tuning agility and release those updates without a full approval cycle. It's always a good sign when higher-ups are willing to invest in engineering fundamentals.
Imp Z-mech meta is on. Good thing his counter got buffed anyway so...Expect bunch of imp with citron and corn at the plant team to deal with them. With the occasional parrot because lol didn't got nerfed.
Nerf to mystic flower (although she still get the general sunflower damage buff), tank commander and jade cactus weren't needed too.
But outside of those,the balance change are very solid or a gonna lead to a healthier meta for sure. As well as the bug fix too. Prop to that.

Scientist did get a nerf to warp and to his top 3 most dominant variant.
Another Citron. Excellent. Almost completely maxed out my Stock and Frozen variants. QoL fixes look solid. Interested to see what Breakfast Brainz's gimmick is.
The spawns/objectives are getting fairly adjusted on Turf Takeover - which is AMAZING.
The big three scientist "PROBLEM CHILDREN" have been nerfed. Warp got a slight nerf, which is fair.
I still don't get the reasoning for WHY the Jade Cactus got nerfed. But the changes to the spawns in TT are technically a buff to cactus.
Chomper will probably play better now with the camera fixes. Didn't spot the hinted at digestion upgrade buff they mentioned on the Popcap stream.
BBQ Corn is gonna fall behind the others because of the magazine nerf - which is great because I'm sick of seeing them.
Rose is also getting buffed alongside the Citron so the Imp/Super Brainz/Scientist meta will end.
I'm going to await judgement until the patch hits my xbone. However it looks very promising. I think the devs are doing as much as they can at once with this patch, bugs, new content, and balance changes. Lot's of good stuff to read up on.
My only two complains are as follows
1. cactus nerfed but I think that whole class needs some help
2. Feel like chompers needs more than what they gave him. Digestion upgrade won't fix the underlying problem.
