Crazy Event

Ok earlier today you guys gave us a taste of the community challenge where you complete rounds on garden or graveyard ops and the requirements were to win a full round on crazy mode...times like a 1.000 REALLY??? Do you expect people to come together to do this insane stunt?? I myself play on crazy maybe once or twice a week I can understand if it was changed to the amount of waves completed that is more doable but completing rounds?? I think more people will do just a little of it and not bother with it since it's quite crazy especially if it's kept at completing rounds and the amount required for the chests is quite absurd. So if no decent changes are made I may not even bother with it.

Here was the events screenshot that showed up yesterday afternoon.

It's 1 crazy round (10 waves) so you just need to do it once. With a team of 4 people, that already contributed to 4 round to community challenges.

So Popcap estimate, there're much more than 225,000 players from 3 different platform around the world that will contribute.

While some newbie/kid are not able to do crazy by themselves, but as a team, they might able to do it.

So it's totally doable, you just need to do your part once.

Note: I plan to do many rounds since I need to level up my characters and I found Garden Ops is a good way to do it (every wave you get points) so it's a right timing for me.

It actually was waves when it said rounds. So one complete Crazy ops is 10 rounds. The other thing is if 4 people played together it would count as 40 rounds. So the challenge isn't all that hard, just time consuming. I don't know the status of the event as of now, it may already be taken down. But, when it does come to town for real (or if they just extend it because they messed up) I plan to solo a few as Toxic Brainz with Toxic Brainz and Computer Scientist AI. Doesn't cost consumables to survive that way and gives decent coins as a bonus. (I'm all for teaming up with players but there is a greater risk of failure.) So yeah, the challenge isn't that bad, it will just be time consuming to do it.

  • I wished I saved the image on my Xbox cause I went through a whole set and completed it and I went to check the tower and showed I only completed one and it did specifically display round not waves
  • The meter and chests poofed after I went over to investigate. I knew something was odd since it was Tuesday, but was going to participate if possible but there was obviously some kind of bug with it.

I must have hit a bug then, I definitely had 20 after just two runs of craaazy ops. Then again, the entire "event" was a bug so I'm not surprised. I would offer a screenshot but the tower is already gone.
