@CompleatBeetI am rather surprised, as it sounds as if that option is no longer available.
I haven't played infinity time for years, but at the time 3-4 years ago, I was on occasion playing with others to collect as many shards as I could to obtain whatever Legendary character I was lacking.
If it ever does come back, I must quickly point out that the game adjusts the difficulty to accord with the number of players in the game. In other words, it is just as difficult playing with other players, as when you are playing on your own. In fact, at the time, I preferred playing on my own.
I haven't tried it but I thought you could invite someone into your backyard (which I have gone into someone else's backyard) and then both can go into Infinity Mode. It was some time last year so after EA put GW2 on cruise control.
- @Gumbypokey07 Yep, pretty sure you can still do that. I have not tested it either, as I normally play with by brother in split-screen, but I believe that you would be able to join Infinity Time with others.
