Daily Challenge Sept 29th and October 2nd Not Working

I tried doing the 29th of September 2019 daily challenge to find after searching it up it is impossible. I would not be annoyed about this if i had not completed every other one this week but i have. Therefore i will not be able to get my pack this week.

    If you were impacted by the daily challenges that could not be completed on September 29th and October 2nd, please contact our Live-Support team and they will make sure you are reimbursed for the missing pack you couldn't get for completing 7 Battles of the Day.

    Thank you for raising this to our attention and for being patient. In the event a daily challenge doesn't work again please let us know right away (just like you did here) and we'll get the team on it. 👍

    @99fa3cf06b80bb6e Live support just granted me 300 gems (said it is easier to issue gems than packs).

    NB: I explained I had missed two packs because the impossible challenges fell in different weeks. The extra 100 gems was a good will gesture.

    I even sent a link to this page as well as a PM to blueberry.  I guess I'll just chalk it up to I'm playing a dead game.

    Yeah, I provided a link to this thread as well.

    I'd give it another shot with Live Support.

    Maybethe person you got was new or hadn't gotten the memo. Guy I chatted with was pretty cruisy about it.

    I did mention the forum moderator directed us to contact their team for compensation so perhaps that underscored the fact that they shouldn't be pointing to devs or anyone else.

    I did try again.  They said I was given 300, but I don't know how many gems I had. Really not worththe hassle.

    Yeah, suppose they should have added 200 tickets on top of the 300 gems (though people potentially missed out more if they weren't able to get to the 3 win/5 win thresholds because of the impossible challenges).

    Perhaps goes back to live support primarily being able to provide gems. Got the sense that any other compensation would involve dev intervention which would be a slow (if ever) process.

    @EA_Blueberry Is this really the best solution?

    For me these game errors are starting to become old hat, but 1) what percentage of the player base uses this forum and 2) what about the people who didn’t recognize the faulty puzzles for what they were, and thought it (the fault) lay with them? We haven’t been posting on this forum for two weeks so we could elbow our way through a customer service queue in the hopes of compensation. If you (not you, you, but you know what I mean) are going to compensate and apologize properly, the compensation should have been prompt, automatic, and awarded to everyone (as when the last time this happened) instead of working like a rebate for the people in the know.

    Daalnii is right, of course, that it isn’t really you I want to be yelling at, but maybe you could pass on the argument that simple, straight-foreword compensation ^^ is easier on both your support team and your player base, and sends a message you still haven’t sent: that you messed up, that you’re sorry, and that you’re trying to do something about it.

    I will not be contacting support. The two packs don’t really mean that much to me; it’s the principle (fixing the unsolvable puzzles and/or apologizing) that concerns me. As far as I am concerned, this issue remains thoroughly unresolved.

    @99fa3cf06b80bb6e I just installed new game update yesterday and there is not any extra gems gifted, I have same gems as before and nothing new at all except a new bold font for displaying the player's name.

    Unless something has changed that I'm unaware of, the compensation gems have nothing to do with installing any updates.

    You have to contact Live Support and tell them you had an issue.

    Providing the link to this forum thread (in particular the page where the moderator directs us to contact support) seems to help.
