I think that's the point I was trying to make. The Z cards mentioned require no skill. Very little set up needed with stompadon, and then draw a card was already out of control before Dino roar. So they took an aspect of the game that was already getting exploited and made it waaaay more powerful. And Going Viral is just a slap in the face really.
The plants dont have as much overlap of abilitys like Z's do. Tricks cost so little it's just silly. Make any zombie deadly, 1 brain + a card draw.
It's really just that everyone (85%) of zombies are playing like this. I don't think the nerfs are going to change anything.
And animal decks are going to be the next wave.

I am glad that I am not the only one to see a problem with the new zombie cards. I think what is very frustrating it's how cheap they are. Zombies already had very powerful cards that could kill the game with no effort, but at least they were expensive. Like the Octopus 8/8 frenzy that keep coming back, the gargantuan 9/9 that kill all of your plants, or the one that hide all your gargantuas in gravestone! All were powerful but rare, and will arrive at the end of the game. But the new one are really cheap!

- Stompadon is only 3 brain and with 6 hp it is very difficult to kill if play early, and the zombie player only need to have two or three extra cards to have a very strong and unmanageable hand. It should be 4 brains or only 3 or 4 hp, or give +1/+1 to your cards in hand at each turn not each time you pick a card!
- Jurassic Fossilhead costs 2 brains, then, I have face it as early as round 2. How are you supposed to kill or deal with an untrickable zombie that is 5/6 as early as round 2?
- The cap zombie, that hits 1 damage every time a plant gets a card. It costs 1 brain and has 4 hp. There are very few option to kill this card at the first rounds, and it will damage you each turn. It should cost 2 or 3 or not be bullyeye.
- The Kitchen sink zombie cost only 6, but will hit you 3 times! (overhead + frenzy + anti heroes). This is unbeatable. And everybody has it because it is an event. You just have to spend some dollars and you get one of the more powerfull zombie card!
- And last but not least, the Zom blob. So powerful that if you keep a card to have an extra attack, you usually win the game.
The point we are trying to make is that's ok that Zombies are difficult to play, that was already the case, they have the best synergies, they play last, have gravestone and deadly and their cards are usually better. But it was still manageable with a good deck and good strategy. I can say that each time I play against a Z player that have new cards my winning rate drop to less than 10%, whereas against a player without the new cards I am around 50 to 60% wining rate. There are a clear difference!
