Demo (on steam) of PVZ1 GOTY crashes upon clicking play to use demo play

(NOTE: this was NOT on steam deck, and I am on Windows 10) Whenever i launch the demo version of PVZ: Game Of The Year Edition, it crashes and says FATAL ERROR!!! I can include what the error msg s...

Thanks, i will try all of those you listed.

I will also edit the post to include any error msg's i get incase that can help anybody figure them out.

    FATAL ERROR

    This is what i get from checking the files through steam without going through as admin on my pc.
