At least your kid isn't trying to get a Mega Charizard X from  XY Flash Fire booster boxes.😞

  • The Sticker Packs make no secret that the contents are completely random; some Packs will guarantee a card of a certain rarity and the Phenomenal Character pack guarantees a full character unlock, excluding Legwndary and Special characters, but other than that exactly what you get is anyone's guess.

It's easy to get ones hopes up that you'll get a certain card or character piece but the system disappoints far more often than it pleases due to the thousands upon thousands of possible stickers of various levels of rarity.

I never feel its a scam if I buy coins. I know its random and I can end up getting something I dont want.

I thought everyone knew its completely random, just like those sticker cards from normal shops are.

Actually one question regarding this. Can we get stickers that we already have?

  • @Berit

The Sticker Shop should not ever give you a sticker which you already have. My Sticker Book is closing in on 6500 stickers out of roughly 8300 and I've never received a duplicate customization item. You'll of course get multiples of spawnable but never the custom items for the characters to wear.

@realitysquared ok, so that makes it even less of a scam compared to stickers bought in the real store 🙂 because you can be 100% sure you will atleast always get something you dont already have.

The packs are random as is said prior to this post and you will never get a duplicate of a unique item unlike some other games with random packs (i.e. loot crates) where you can get the same unique item over and over. When I used to play Magic: the Gathering I wish I had a mechanic similar to this so I would have gotten less of the same card I only needed a max of 4 of from al those packs!

Yeah, As the others are saying there is no guarantee with the packs to get something good its random so if you lost money then its your own fault

I don't recommend purchasing this pack EVER because its just too expensive for three items. You need well over 8 million coins to get everything from it including the party characters.  You will spend more coins on hats and shoes than the actual character pieces which I'm sure your son is after.  Sorry he had a bad weekend, but my advice is for him to do the infinity until he unlocks the party characters. This pack is only for whales who want to complete the stickerbook.

I was one of those whales getting the 200,000 coin infinity packs and I agree they are more 'big time' than the regular packs.  I used my coins for the first ever offering of the infinity packs (Sept. 2016) and as I opened the character pieces started slow.  Then they came very quickly after around 2 million (a few packs had nothing but character pieces) and I think that is all I spent for all of the infinity characters.  I bought all of the coins I needed so I don't know if they fast track the character pieces somehow based upon earned vs. purchased coins.  I wanted to avoid infinity time and I think a 5 year old would grow weary of playing infinity time for that amount of time required to get all of them.  I don't regret spending those coins but it did set me back $50 or so.  When I first purchased the game in April of 2016 I went balls in immediately with getting all of the additional character pieces via sticker packs no matter what the coin cost or if I had to buy (except Unicorn, that obviously took me longer).  I had success at first and I figured the drop rate for the character pieces would slow over time so that is why I went on a spending spree (that and my own 8 year old was impatient).  I don't regret that either because it was relativity painless getting the character pieces, although frustration always sets in at times.  I now read all of these posts since about trouble with obtaining character pieces, 5 million or 8 million coins...wow.  I am not pointing fingers at EA but it appears it was easier earlier.
