Does anyone else have these CrashDumps for PvZ BFN?
I was checking my documents on my pc and found a folder that says gw3.main_founders.Win32. I opened jt and it has all the crash dumps for every time I tried to launch the game. If you open them up and look at them there's a bunch of random symbols and text so I dont know what it actually is. I cant upload it as an example but I have a pic. At this time I am still unable to launch the game even though my pc has the recommended specs. Maybe these crash dumps have something to do with it?
Hey @NightfireJdn
If you open it in Notepad, it is not compatible with that File Type.
However, there is a program called WinDbg Preview that you can download, and it will show the contents of those CrashDump Files.
Here are some steps you can try to launch the Game:
1. Disable the Origin in-game Overlay in the Origin Launcher
2. Launch Origin and Battle for Neighborville as Administrator
3. Clear Origin Cache: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/
4. Uninstall/Reinstall Origin: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/manually-uninstalling-origin/
5. Clean Boot: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/
6. Close Background Apps: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/origin/origin/programs-that-may-cause-conflicts-with-origin/
Try these steps, and let us know if you're still having issues.
Thanks 🙂
