EA does not recognize my Xbox Gold membership
I just bought the game earlier this day and I got this message: ''Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access Xbox Live functionality''. I have an Xbox gold membership. Please help...

Parental restrictions is something that you set on your own, there is no magic age that will have no restrictions at all. It's all dependent on how the account is set up.

As for why the parental account doesn't have Gold, you should be checking with Xbox Support. I would assume the family sharing is generally to only share with child account, not vice versa - but again I'm only assuming.
I contacted Microsoft and asked the supporter to remove my 30-day trail membership, so I could try to access EA online servers with a paid one. It actually worked. All my account social restrictions were turned off before AND after.
This is not acceptable.
