@WaterThornz Again, thank you for sharing this. I was about to post a screenshot of this as well. To me it seems like he is mocking people a bit and implying that it is in part our fault that the game got cancelled. Like with his reply to z-Mech buffs: "How about sprinting? Would that be good?".
To me, it seems like he is a bit mad, because people were asking for z-mech and imp nerfs and now they are asking for buffs, just like people have been complaining about sprinting and some are asking for it to be buffed again.
I think he's basically saying that we couldn't make up our minds about certain things, which lead to them working on these topics a lot, therefore resulting in not a lot of new content being released.
I could be very wrong about this, but I get those vibes from it.

@benn1nat0rI just wanted z mech to work properly and not be a second life to get out of tough situation (he still dosen't die or eject properly), his damage is pathetic and buffing his fire rate didnt help combined with the lack of falloff, hes still one of if not the worst class in the game due to how easily every plant can kill him, gravity grenade is pathetic and multiple plants can easily escape it, impkata can easily be ran away from, and his reload still dosent work properly alongside his backpack lights and this has been something from day 1.
Also yeah his tone sounds directed at us which is stupid we didn't choose how the game went the direction it did like what the heck man we didn't make bad decisions that broke simple features, allow glitches to run rampant on every map (wall phasing shark nuff said), or make community goodwill and YouTube presence practically evaporate from the last game to now.
Dont even get me started on the games other issues or else I may write a book about it.

- @WaterThornz No because popcap incompetent is on full display with this game and they've even lied to us on occasions about fixing the game.

@stukapooka Yeah it really seems like he is directing this at us, which wouldn't make much sense. I mean I don't want to accuse him of something, as I don't know him or exactly what he means. It could just be an attempt at humor, but I think it is more cynical than humorous.
I would, in part, understand this point of view. The community has had some opinions that changed 180 in a few days after updates. Notice: I said "The community". The thing is, they chose to listen to the wrong community. If they chose to only listen to Reddit, where most people hated BfN because it dared to deviate from gw2 and hated on it because it doesn't have variants, then that is their own fault. The forum community offered qualitative feedback from the beginning, which they ignored. Either EA or the devs forced themselves to work on 100 things at once, resulting in no content being finished and released in months.
I get it, game development is hard, especially with the current situation, but still. Most of this is objectively a product of mismanagement and nothing else. I always said not to insult the devs. They were doing their best and I would never want to insult them, but the many bugs and lack of communication were objectively bad. There's no arguing with that. Even if EA is the source of the problems and not PopCap, it definitely isn't the community's fault.
@WaterThornz Don't worry about it too much, @stukapooka doesn't seem to mid. It sucks that everyone who likes BfN is attacked by the gw community. Why would these people hate on a part of the community and bash the game this much? Don't they realize the games are 90% similar than that BfN is a member of the series? We're all in the same boat and should unite to show our love for the PvZ shooter. If everyone keeps hating there certainly won't be a new PvZ shooter.

@WaterThornz & @stukapooka Apparently he wasn’t mocking us, z-Mech can sprint now and I’m honestly a bit scared of it.
I have just watched a running Z-Mech, it seems funny.
I thought that Z-Mech which can't run is reasonable, but at least to run distinguishes Z-mach from Oak and Spacestation, so I accept this change.
