I for the last 2 years have been trying to find a solution for Battle for Neighborville, and I think I have.
The biggest problem with Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville is that it didn't really attract its fans like Plants vs. Zombies GW2 did. Simply they made the game almost 70% different than the previous one. I feel that whenever someone tries to make a movie or show you should always leave some originality from the previous parts so that original fans can connect with the story. Battle for Neighborville doesn't give that feel of originality all that much.
A second reason I think the game didn't do so well is because you don't have enough to really do in the game to begin with. Once you complete all four regions in the game the game pretty much is over from that point. Garden Warfare 2 featured the trials Gnomus which had you unlock two extra characters it also featured story mode similar to battle for Neighborville and it featured the pretty much fun chore of simply trying to unlock all characters.
I know what PopCap originally tried to do with battle for Neighborville and I think the original plan was give us more upgrades to make the game more interesting + new characters, although the biggest disappointment of fellow fans was that there were no more Elemental character variants.
I should say Battle for Neighborville does not deserve to be left behind and in a general sense what happens if Plants vs Zombies 2 were not to become a hit anymore it could be fatal to the whole Plants versus Zombies series for the future.
Please Popcap do not discontinue the Plants vs Zombies third person shooter series!
I have ideas that will make Battle for Neighborville turn into what it was truly meant to be Plants Vs zombies Garden Warfare 3.
Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville live on! Live On!

I will keep these ideas up in case anybody wants to see them.
(3 out of 19 already in the game, not really.)
Fire
Ice
Electric
Toxic
Armor
Shadow
Light
Goo
Hyper
Party
Plasma
Wind
Sound
Hypno
Ghost
Digital
Vampire
Bomb
Agent
While some of these variants are already in Garden Warfare 2 a lot of them are new and completely from me.
Popcap & EA if you're seeing this then please rethink about this fatal decision to stop working on the Plants vs. Zombie shooters (Please 😭 continue the series!)

Hello my fellow Brothers and Sisters of Plants vs. Zombies as the fight for continuing Battle for Neighborville goes on I'm sorry to disappoint you with some bad news . . . it looks like PopCap actually is going to stop working on the Plants vs. Zombie shooters as Justin Wiebe put up a post regarding this. So as of right now there's no official news that they are going to continue Battle for Neighborville. However the team of PopCap is still working on Plants vs Zombies 3 and it's early release beta and future Plants vs Zombies mobile games. Still it does not look like we are likely in the future to get any more shooters. Sorry but this is official 😭 R.I.P. Plants vs. Zombies Battle for Neighborville.

I know how that feels, but I had doubts about Battle for Neighborville when they've removed almost all the aspects from Garden Warfare that made the game enjoyable.
The best thing to do is move on to a different franchise or find a new hobby. BFN is known to be responsible for killing the franchise.
