EA servers down?

Kinda late too the party on this one, but I just bought the game, im signed in but unable to connect to the servers. Did I just throw 30 bucks away? (I dled off the 360 marketplace)

Ea did make an announcement, on the in game message board it displayed the maintenance sign saying (servers will be down for maintenance from 8am- 2pm GMT) unfortunately the servers are still down, they should be up soon, and in from the UK so its nearly 4pm here, nit sure what time it is in the US

      Actually its 3:15 GMT and accordinly to the server maintenace, they will be finished at 4:30 GMT so hopefully everything will be running smooth in about an hour. hold tight!

        It seems odd they would use standard GMT when it is not in use in the summer in the vast majority of countries at this time of year as we go +1 hour so i would of assumed they are referring to BST or WEST which is 16:24?

        Yeah it is an hour just seen it's 9.30 PDT.
