Dude you are very angry. I understand your frustration but creating a post like that won't bring back the community challenges. It sounds like they shut down the whole game. You can still play all relevant game modes. PopCap created a new game which needs work done by the devs. Many GW2 players don't like the devs decision to focus on BfN but it's more than understandable due to all issues left in BfN.
I played hundreds of hours in GW 1 and 2. I love these games and PopCap did an amazing job with creating such a big franchise. I'm thankful for all the great time I had but the devs moved on to another title and so did I.
@Markyshizzle86 I feel your pain and I don't want to offend you but what would have changed if they would have announced the removal of the community challenges 30 days before? It's not like you just bought the game and now you are unable to play it. It isn't exactly fairplay to bring up the BBB.
Edit: Of course we all expected PopCap to be much more transparent and not to leave the loyal player base in the dark. No wonder that players are now frustrated. PopCap you can do better!
Can I be completely honest? I didn't know that PopCap had a 30 day notice before the removal of a service! 😳
@Markyshizzle86 Like @ippig mentioned, I played a lot of GW2 over my time (didn't play GW1) so it is a bit of a shame that the developers have now mostly stopped working on GW2, although I can accept that. But, developers, like you have already been doing, which is excellent, please continue improving BfN, it's an excellent game, I love it so much and main this game. I haven't bought any rainbow stars on this game yet with real money, only the deluxe and Seasons Eatingz upgrade, but if the developers keep putting more work into this game, I am more than happy to start making many, many more transactions and purchases, if it continues improving, I will put more a lot more money into it without hesitation. The developers have been adding features and slowly fixing some of the bugs and technical issues, so I hope they keep up this hard work (and take a break from time to time, of course 🙂)!
With GW2 though, I would really like it if they at least add community challenges and boss hunts a few more times just so I have the chance to get the achievement on Xbox One where I have to win a Boss Hunt on Crazy Mode! That would be great as well and would really make my day! 🤔
@Lionkeg718 If they can't temporarily add back these events, at least it would be great if the developers could have the achievements modified so they're obtainable regardless of whether players already have them or not? 🤔
