Electro Brainz

I think Electro Brainz needs an AOE nerf. I've seen numerous matches where players will just spam shots into a small group of plants from half a map away, and lay waste to them. I was playing a Camo Cactus and was no where near any other player, yet I was still vanquished by the residual energy that hit other players. None of the electro variants do that much damage to that many players. Captain Sharkbite is another variant that needs tamed. Powerful ranged weapon, powerful close combat and the ability to jump into an exploding barrel is a bit much. His only downfall is his speed. It's easy to spot the OP chars, as the teams load up with them. I see mostly team Roses for the plants and team Super Brainz/Capt Sharkbites for the zombies. I think with Rose getting her much needed nerf, that you will see the zombies completely taking over matches.

I have played a lot of Super Brainz. In my opinion Electro Brainz perhaps do need a small nerf to his beam attack.

But lets see what changes they make in the upcoming patch and how that balances (or not) things.

  • The range of the beams from Brainz and the Citron are to long. A shorter range would be fine or at least the damage should be really low at a long distance.

Considering super brainz has 2 almost impossible to land a abilities, I think it's fine if he has some splash damage. Honestly if you're getting hit by splash damage as a sniper, you might want to reposition.

Captain has a slow projectile speed at long ranges and he's so slow that if he manages to make his way up to a team to use his shotgun, that speaks more to your teams ability than it does the power level of a character.

I think people underestimate how much strategy this game takes. Due to the theme and art style, people think you can just join a game and do well by being reckless and careless. I wish people would play more tactically, then maybe we wouldn't get people complaining on the forums about nerfing things that are fine just because they got their * handed to them.
  • Currently electro brain shock effect is clearly too strong, It spread a 15 damage and a 5 damage "shock" every-time it hit to a close enemy, and with the fire rate of the beam, the damage quickly end up killing really fast.

(Also shock it not really a AOE,it spread to enemies close bit when it hit someone, but don't do anything more if there nobody else nearby)

  • His beam certainly needs looking at. Tone down the damage, and MAYBE reduce it's max chain to like 1-2 people. (since its ROF is pretty high)

PS: Melee chaining is fine. If you let Electro Brainz get up close and personal, you deserve to get pummeled.
