The spin applies a de buff that's why it looks that way.. why does it matter if they take 85% less damage if you're swallowing them?
This is funny, because the Chomper is my NUMBER ONE MOST FEARED PLANT as Super Brainz. I main Brainz, he's by far my favorite, and yes, he's powerful. But complaining about him as a Chomper? I avoid Chomper's like the plague until I see them pounce on someone else. No other plant, not even Rose, nullifies me as Brainz like the Chomper does, and if my kick is on cool down, I'm dead pretty much every time.
Here's what happens 'if' I see the Chomper coming at me....
I see Chomper, I start to move away.
Chomper burrows and chases me faster than I can move.
I start jumping: if kick is up, I kick away, then jump again, to turn around and attempt to engage before burrow is up again. The fight goes about 50/50 on who will win.
If my kick is on CD, I jump another time, to end up being eaten when I land.
Respawn 2 seconds later.
That's IF I see Chomper coming. More often than not, I'm in the middle of a spin, and I get ate before I realize he was even there. A one shot guarantee. Brainz only gets that with a direct hit of his super sloooooooow ball of massive firey incoming doom.
By the way, Chomper is my favorite on the Plants side (if I'm forced to play as a plant, which I try to avoid until the Rose nerf). As the Chomper, my favorite zombie target, is.... BRAINZ!
