Electro Citron guide-thingy

This is a guide for Electro Citron based on my experience with him. I'll cover mainly the strategies for his primary weapon's charges that work the best for me, along with some other stuff.

Starting off with the general strategy, Electro Citron in my opinion is the best Citron for long-range combat and sniping. Use your Ball Form and Hyper Ball ability to get to a good vantage point, as with 200 health and your Peel Shield it won't be easy to take you down from there. The shield proves more useful than ever, since they can't easily go around or above it. Don't forget however, that it's still your job to shut down Z-Mechs with the E.M.Peach, even if it means throwing it below you (or across the map if you're lucky). Ball Charge's main use is to push away eventual intruders like Foot Soliders or Imps.

The first charge level I'll talk about is the second one. It deals around 40-45 damage with splash damage, and it should be your go-to shot for most situations. It doesn't take long to charge and you can keep a certain rythm of charging up and releasing the moment it's on 2nd level for a rather fast rate of fire. It uses up 6 ammo, so you can shoot 4 of them without reloading.

Next up is the first/uncharged shot. Fast, but deal the least damage, no splash. The best use i found is to fire them into groups of zombies, and thanks to the 10 damage electricity arcs you can do some decent harm to them. Remember, that if you want to take out a crucial target with them, it's sometimes best to shoot someone next to them for a chance of more damage.

Last but not least is the devastating fully-charged shot. Takes 12 ammo and deals 75-80 damage with better splash than the second. Charge it up behind cover and shoot if they dare to slow down. Followed by a medium or a barrage of small shots should take down most classes. If you're dueling somebody and they hide to heal, have one of them ready. The moment they come back they will not know what hit them. Due to the splash radius it's also good for clearing a group of Browncoats or taking down zombies behind cover

Character upgrades (my preference):

  • Zoom upgrade - Essential for most snipers, better zoom means better aim (most of the time anyways)
  • Damage upgrade - Mainly to power-up the small shots, can also be picked if you like firing the biggest ones for bigger one-shot potential. Can be swapped for regen delay
  • Ammo upgrade - Allows to squeeze in that one extra shot of any charge level (24 to 27)
  • Health regen delay upgrade - If you get shot at, it helps going back to shooting faster. Can be swapped for damage

P.S.

Sorry if there is something unclear, badly written etc. I've never been good at writing these 😳

  • Thank you for sharing your guide about Electro Citron. I like this character but don't play it as much and haven't leveled it up yet. I definitely will try the distance strategy the next time I play and see how it works.

Half charged shot do 50 damage btw (55 at headshot).

They do deal 50's at close range I believe, but for the purpose of the guide i wrote the long distance damage

With ammo upgrade you can do 3 full charged shots per clip. I use the damage, ammo and reload upgrades. He's kinda weak until you get those 3 upgrades on him.

Electro Clinton's  non charged shots should do 13-14 damage instead of 10 and should do splash damage. But the charged shots don't need much changing. Hopefully poppa takes this into consideration as a buff for the class
