First off, if you've been playing this game from day 1, shouldn't you be able to find the plumber's weakness yet? I mean, if you ever encounter him up close, can't you even do damage to him because am able to either kill the plumber entirely or weaken him enough for him to be at 15-25% hp with most plant characters. The key is to know where plumbers usually spray their ammo at, whether it be the garden or a popular choke point. Once you know that, avoid those spots when you know there's a plumber on the zombies side and make sure you don't let him build the teleporter either.
Moving on, the scientists are all fine the way they are. They are basically the shotguns of this game and doesn't every shotgun kill extremely fast in every game you can think of? If you think the scientists are op then you haven't played enough fps to know about shotguns and how strong are they at very close range.
Been getting this a lot lately that most people use a toxic pea because it's the strongest pea out there. Well that's highly incorrect; only way the toxic pea can ever be better than all peas is that the toxic pea is able to attack more than 2 zombies at the same time. The dps (damage per second) is basically average for a pea and even the fire pea, sliencer pea, full-auto pea, and law pea have higher dps stats then the toxic pea. Only the people that have the worst aiming in the game or doesn't know how strong the other peas are, are the only people that use the toxic pea. I will admit though, toxic peas are super effective in garden ops, but only when you are fighting the summoned zombies. When you fight the boss zombies as the toxic pea, it takes a long time to take them down unless you switch to a better dps peashooter or use the pea gattling and risk getting damaged a lot (it literally took only 5-10 seconds to kill a yeti with 1/4 players attacking it with a law pea. the yeti had a ton of hp because of 4 players playing, but with the law, I used a regular bean bomb and got about 20-30 shots on the face up close and killed the yeti instantly.)
All in all, any splash damage character has a weakness to them and since you've been playing since day 1, am guessing you should know how to beat them by now.

Haha. You're talking to someone who has above a 4 K/D, don't lecture me on how to play the game. I can deal with a plumber but only because I'm more skilled than my opponents. The plumber is OP it's as simple as that.

If a below average player is able get the same scores as an above average player simply by playing a good class, chances are there are some balance changes that are needed. Take that same good class, put it in the hands of an above average character and they'll be able to wreck face.
In the plumber's case, it is a non-progression character; so there will generally be more of them around. Apply the above statement to the popularity of this character, you do the math.

Every class is "OP" in one way or another, its how you deal with their outstanding features that determines if you win or loose.
The scientists are overpowered in close quarters, peashooters are overpowered in gardens/gnome bomb because of their chilibean nukes, cacti are overpowered because they're the only class that has any kind of range and accuracy, sunflowers are overpowered because they can chain heal beams together and heal allies though walls, All-stars are overpowered because they can boot imps across the map from relative safety now and have high damage/low cooldown weapons, foot soldiers are overpowered because they can hide on rooftops and pick off players from relative safety, chompers are overpowered because they can camp underground and insta-kill unsuspecting players with a relatively low cool-down and almost all engineer classes are "OP" because of their splash damage.
Sure some variants stand out above the rest such as the chemist, toxic pea, camo cactus, etc but its these differences that make them fun to play, if they all did similar damage and really didn't stand out, this game would get dull fast. The plumber just happens to have massive splash damage as his gimmick. Yes, he's easier to use than some of the others but he's hardly overpowered if you have a basic sense of reasoning and can adapt to oncoming attacks. Easy solution to the plumber? Don't congregate in the garden, he's adept at clearing out crowds, that's what he does. If there's a plumber around, spread out, get closer and take him down. Most plumber users can't handle a face to face battle, that's why they're spamming shots from the top of that tower or from across that bridge.
Yes, he's more of an annoyance than others and he's potentially more devastating to unknowing players but asking for things to get nerfed without fully realizing how to deal with them beforehand is what ruins good games. If I'm getting dominated by a plumber I change classes, I fly a garlic drone over and pop him a few times, or snipe him out with the camo cactus. Figuring out how to deal with a troublesome character shows more skill and talent than formally requesting that the developers weaken it so y ou don't have to.
I do agree about that golf course map, more plant pots would be welcome. Give me a reason to plant all of these Scardy Shrooms. - 12 years ago

It doesn't matter if you have a k/d that's 20 or higher, your still not telling me the reason why he's op other than you having a high k/d with him. You say that he's op in all of your posts yet you don't tell us why other than your k/d...
You tell me: why is the plumber any/so powerful than the other dangerous classes such as the Camo Cactus, Law Pea, and a Chemist?
If it's because of his splash damage/radius then you really not have been paying attention to what others are saying to counter him. Saying that just because your more skilled than your opponent doesn't mean he doesn't have a weakness, it just means that you use your high k/d as a shield to get what you want and impress others as a "good excuse" from your perspective. If you haven't listened here's a brief way on how to counter the plumber: just avoid staying in the garden for too long and stay out of the common places where plumbers usually spray-&-pray or out of the line of sights where plumbers could potentially be at.

You're missing the point completely. Firstly I mentioned my K/D because you were trying to lecture me on how to counter the plumber; I know how to counter the plumber. You seem to think if you keep out of common damage spots that plumbers target then you're dandy. That's not true against a better player. The plumber is VERY strong up close as well as at range. You'd find it hard to beat me in a close encounter with me as a plumber. You'd lose every single time.
