Hello, I have been having this problem as well. As I stated in a post above, I've been playing this game on the same computer since launch and have just recently been having severe framerate issues. I've been trying all sorts of stuff but can't seem to figure out what went wrong. Here is my dxdiag in hopes that it provides some clue. Thanks in advance.
It happens in the menu screen also, when I'm selecting characters inside a multiplayer server.
Try resetting nVidia Control Panel 3D Properties to global defaults. ((do not re-run GeForce Experience optimize))
Try deleting the Docuemnts\PvZ folder (a fresh one is made on next launch)
If you have a custom user.cfg file in the base of your PvZ directory try removing it.
Try Uninstalling and reinstalling the latest nVidia drivers again.
Thanks for the reply WootCandy. I tried all of the things you mentioned except for the custom user.cfg file. I couldn't find that on my computer. I reinstalled garden warfare also and noticed that the hotkeys I had set were still the same, so maybe I'm just missing the cfg file somewhere. Do you know where I might find that on my computer? I'm still havin the same issue after a few of the troubleshooting ideas. I'll keep trying and get back with any progress I make. If you think of any other ideas I could try to fix the issue, please post them here. Thank you.
