Failed to connect to the game session

Hi,

I recently purchased Garden Warfare 2 for the PS4, unfortunately I can't seem to connect to the multiplayer.

My PS4 is connect through Ethernet to my router and it can connect fine to the PSN and to the EA servers, however when I try to join the multiplayer portal the ping information makes no sense (-1601961986) and this applies to all regions, then I try to enter the multiplayer and see the message "Finding BEST match" and shortly after I see "found BEST match" from there it tries to connect for a few seconds and finally I get the error message that it failed to connect to the game session.

I have given my PS4 a static IP and open the ports recommended on EA forums, I also tried to include it's IP in the DMZ however after trying all of this I still can't connect to the multiplayer.

Can someone from EA advise or someone with the same problem?

    I was having the same issue with the xbox version.  What ended up fixing it for me was to turn off IPv6 under DHCP Server settings on my router and turning on UPNP,  turns out I didn't need to do any of the port forwarding they suggested(I had tried them all at first).

    What country are you trying to connect from?  Have you rebooted completely?

    from the U.S both Na West and Na east give the exact same problem,rebooting completely literally does nothing.

    i ran the UOTrace twice like it said,and attempted port forwarding with no avail.its still a 10% or so chance that i actually join a game instead of another "failed to join the game session" screen.anything else i could try?
