Failed to retrieve saved data...
One of my friends tried to get on PVZ GW2 but a message popped up saying failed to retrieve saved data, this happened multiple times, now they seem to have completely lost their account.

Had it on PC too. I went and played other stuff and came back and it was fine a little later. I haven't seen it often but it was persistent last night for a time.
yes happened to me after the patch as well, i play on PC, what solved for me was the Repair Game option within the Origin app, it took nearly 10 mins to finish, then i restarted the Origin app, and was back to normal
