umm, his dps is higher than reg corn and his shield counters branium and zpg, his only downside is his reload speed is lower, but you can use the fast reload upgrade. and his accuracy is better than reg corn since the recoil is way less than reg corn.

52 shots in 4.75s, 5 damage, 55 dmg/s reg corn
25 shots in 4.75s, 11 damage, 57.5 dmg/s shogun.
The video I linked also tests the recoil and shogun's is way better than reg corn.@Conewhizz @ Even if he is like, 5% better than Kernel (wich he isn't lol), he has 2 upgrade points instead of 7 for any other upgrades, so Kernel is better
- @GutmanSca I would say they are in the same tier. Shogun has tiny better dps and better recoil but wastes 5 points for a shield thats really gimmicky. Kernel has worse dps and worse recoil but has 7 upgrade points that he can freely use.
