Free sticker packs?

My wife and I have been playing Pvz:GW2 for about a month or so and we've noticed from time to time she will receive free sticker packs in the shop via the gift function. Not to mention the free 100,000 coins she got when starting the game the first time. I'm wondering how she is receiving these seeing as we play about always the same amount and I'm not receiving these gifts at all.

    She received a pack last night and we haven't had a community challenge since the 5th

    Last week, PopCap celebrate PVZ special event so they give a free sticker.

    I dunno man, that sounds pretty weird.  I certainly can't explain it.

    I’ve been experiencing the same with my sons account. We keep receiving free character packs every couple days. No argument here.

    Well geez, I've got to go log in on my family's low level accounts and see what's what!

    EDIT  I just logged in on three different accounts - no free lunch for me!
