Game doesnt fit into tv

I just got plants vs zombies battle for neighborville, and the screen doesnt fit into my tv. The tv is samsung HD 46 inches and i am playing on a ps4. Please help! By the way if i may offer a solution, i suggest adding a setting so that you can customize how big your screen is so that it will fit into your tv. If you ask, this problem occured during the downloading area before you get into the full game, and in the full game.

thanks!

    Nothing will probably fix this unless you disable overscan on your TV.
    The game renders inside its given pixel range, it's your TV that's displaying some pixels outside of the border.
    You might not have this issue with others games because they compensate for different screen sizes, but this game doesn't do that.
    Instead of every game having to adapt to you (and eventually every game will stop doing that); just disable overscan on the TV and you'll get the pixels you paid for when you bought the TV.

    @dragofire202

    To set the display area of the game screen to match the TV screen, select  (Settings) > [Sound and Screen] > [Display Area Settings].

    Also, check your TV for a setting called 'overscan' as that may need to be set correctly too.

    Thanks.

    The screen is already shrunk as far as it could be, and nothing has changed

    Same issue here. And just like OP mentions: this is ONLY a problem when using split screen.

    I give this overscan-thingy a try though...
