Case and point they nerfed her health, damage, charge shot, homing range, projectile speed and all of her abilities. they even made her Frost variant useless,
Somethings were certainly warranted to be nerfed and others weren't. Now what other one character can you say got that many nerfs. That's not good balancing at all. it's going from one extreme to the other.
People were saving the same thing about imp after the beta,look where we are now.
The thing with rose is that she isn't even that bad right now,projectile speed is the same as before and arcane enigma didn't got touched, yeah she need some small buff, but it still perfectly playable for the most part. Exception being frost rose,who indeed got overnerfed losing everything that made her good at the first place.
@Boolerex Her projectile speed did indeed get nerfed, the only variant who was left alone was Druid Rose.
Yes look at the Imp now. 75 base health, 85 with health upgrade. This supposed to be a risk reward character?, where is the risk now when he can evade attacks like no other character and then send out for a giant mech of doom?
As for Rose's Arcane Enigma that isn't safe either, you are still quite vulnerable on the start up of the animation and can die pretty easily because of that.
I hope this balance update rebuffs her abit, at least bring her back to how she was in the beta. Not one person complained about her being OP in that. Even her intended role as a Crowd Control/support class for the Plants was nerfed quite a lot.
Yes I weep for Frost Rose, what's the point in having an Ice Variant who can't freeze worth a damn?

While Ice Rose is complete trash right now and it's not worth charging up your shot as Fire Rose due to thr loss in mobility, Rose is still a strong character, or ar least suited to counter the Imp/Scientist/Super Brainz meta. I unlocked the damage upgrade for the default Rose two days and and she became a monster. She now does have her high (splash)damage back, and her abilities give you the perfect tools to go on a killing spree. Her Time Snare counters all the Zombies that have their focus on close range, making them easy kills, renders the Z-Mech immobile and allows you to unload a clip into his face. It also shuts down those Electro Brainzs and turns Deadbeard into a bunch of EP for your Cacti. Goatify works wonders against every single damage reducing ability in the game, it also transforms Scientists into some target practice dummies and takes away their burst damage and it let's your team kill those tanky idiots when ut's combined with a Time Snare. Last but not least, the Arcane Enigna is somewhat unreliable when you are in a pinch, but it helps you to travel the map without risk and it is a great finisher for weakend Imps and Scientist.
- Anonymous10 years agoYeah i just ginished leveling druid and stock rose and they arent too bad at all. Especially in all the imp heavy games. Working on ice now and while pretty horrible if i play it cool and dont miss any charged shots i can do mediocre : )

Oh jesus. This QQ thread and those people who spams those list nerfs seriously should stop complain this game and train to get good.
FirstThe game is not THAT unbalanced.
SecondWhy do you ask nerf for Imps when he was clearly unplayable last patch? He need a change not a nerf. He need to trade some HP in favor of more damage. To be honest is not even Op , is just annoying because he forces you to pick something you don't want, " oh you can't play your beloved Corn, what a wrong crime for the human rights" now i understand this sentence. Imp is extremely easy when enemy team is full of Corns, maybe only BBQ can deal with him , but still.. why do you think just making him a little bit tankier when he was clearly too squishy made him to op? Is Op by himself or something changed in the meta make him more affordable to play? And besides that, Regular Imp is pretty balanced and shrimp too kinda, what are Op are just Z11, Lil Drake and Cone. But Z11 and Cone were nothing special before the health buff because they take advatnage of the frontline to deal their damage.
Also this class is not a sniper, has a huge damage drop off on range, and has not high damage XD has decent damage, the damage were nerfed to the Beta, the Kernel Corn hp buff and those Citrons are really hard to deal because they are pretty bulky, lol, and the regular has also a huge bullets dispersion. This class is still the squishier frontliner in the entire game, and if you can't deal with him, it's pretty much your fault, because there are plenty of plants classes that can deal with them. First, you garden lovers.. or should i say KINDERGARTEN lovers, DON'T BOTHER YOU PLAY THOSE CLASSES BEFORE COMPLAIN?
Every fire class zone them pretty much from the frontline.
BBQ Corn has low recoil
Other counters: Pietryfied Cactus, Jade and Zen if you aim correctly with the splash damage.
Blast Radius PeaShooter, especially Rock and Toxic. Rock forces him to reload, also his Hyper is way better than his doublejump 🙂
Regular Citron counters him perfectly, too bulky force him to reload, and his splash damage infinite beam weapon is perfect to deal with them.
Spray Chompers, but Chompers generally speaking. Too bulky force them to reload and can bite them to the death.
Roses are just good to with them thanks to Splash Damage and Enigma
Nerfing Imp to a point he will become even weaker before the buff is same has happened to Rose. WAKE UP YOUR MINDS, YOU KIDDIES and seriously get good.

The actual Rose isn't that bad, just extremely hard to play, and still is even better than all the Corn's variations (besides BBQ)
I have 2.00 KDA with regular Rose. i played her only post patch and still can't fkn reach more than 1.5KD with any Corn variations, no matter how much play them.Fourth
They already said they are going to buff Citron next patch.
With Citron and Rose little buffs, are nerfs to Electro Brainz and Sharkbite and Imp, Plants will snowball.Imps will have HP reduced with those primary coutners buffed and spammed (Rose and Citron) and they will be all unplayable again 🙂
Just to clarify Imp is my favorite Zombie class, but i have them all to Master so don't really care if they will ending up to do the same fate of the Rose. But still, why after the Rose accident you want every character to be unplayable? Same happened to Zen Cactus. Then we have to spam QQ for days for every single class?

Ok this is the clair proof plants lose a little bit more, but you pretend that every single good variations of zombie class to be broken. Zombies are just stronger because some op things, but you get the illusion every single things that kill you is Op, i listened someone blame some engineers class like Roadie Z or Electricist and Welder.. are you serious???
With Rose and Citron ups you will not see anymore Turbo Twist spammed. This is way game will be magical balaned, because Rose alone counters both Imps and S.Brainz. the two stronger classes in zombie side.
FifthPlants aren't underpowered. Most of them just require coordination and skill, something in a game with no chat text and no MMR matchmaking is a huge handicap, but to be honest i think Plants in a coordinated context are way superior (maybe besides Cactus - Pirate). And they are because they have tools to deal with everything. Zombies have just a bunch amount of damage skills. Still Roses and Citron have their AoE CC, something the zombie team lacks, and Engineer stun grenade is not even close as both of them.
