An organised chat is not entirely valid it helps but there is still a power inbalance since I do quite frequently play with a 2-6 friends all 1k prestige or higher.
If you say imps are underpowered you have a screw loose. I managed to get my imps to elite before they upped the health to 75 you just had to be quick and on the go its the way the Imp was designed he only got to stay put when he got his mech form with the health boost imps are now being used as snipes because they can afford to stay in place for longer. Multiple Mechs are an impossibility they kill an easy 5 plants in 1 go with their special abilities.
If you don't think plants are underpowered go play private match ups rigged with single classes zombies tear it up. Pirates and Imps top easy the only classes that stand up but not still invulnerable is citron and Chomper because of the extra health.
Every game iv seen the same match ups and gameplay Electro Brains, Shark bites and Zooligists/Chemists with the odd Marine Biologists unbeatable combination Electro Brains shuts down any groups of healing as a potted sunflower = death to all plants trying gain heals around it by kinetic, Sharkbites killing all cacti and peashooters from a distance far beyond their range talking back of the map and Zooligist/Chemists slaughtering you as you spawn. Zooligist outbeats a chomper in close range combat.
The fact there is a great magnitude of people playing with these particular classes already MASTERED is an indicator of the level of OP they are cheap characters. high damaging little skill or aim required. Out of all my mastered class Sharkbite and Electrobrains are easily the top 2 fastest with an easy prestige rank per game.
Team balancing is still an issue the amount of times there is a half plants team versus zombies because everyone switches then somehow new players joining somehow end up on the team with more players??
Yes as someone who actually enjoys to play the game in its entirety that means to play and level every class it is a real chore to step beyond any of the only selection of counter characters.
Peas, Chompers and Citrons with skilled players can stand against a couple electros or zoologist but when you end up against a whole team its mayhem the power level is really 3 v 1.
I don't see a reason to not play with a mastered character. Why the hell did I grind all the upgrades if I'm never going touse him again? I usually use oneof my mastered characters because they offer the most comfortable and fun experience to play. I won't force myself to grind out some garbage tier characters like the Hockey Star or the Commado Pea because I wont enjoy playing them.
