Do you happen to have another friend or family member that might have the game, so you can try a different disk to see if it works?
I'm surprised none of this troubleshooting has worked, but other games work fine.
Also, can I ask where you bought the game from? Have you tried getting a replacement disk?

@iluminatethesky We are baffled by it, and totally agree that at least one of those options should work. The disc will play in a different xbox perfectly fine. Just suddenly not mine! But no sadly I don't actually know anyone else that plays the game 😢
