Game won't respond to touch

I've seen several other posts like this but technical support has asked me to report my findings, so here I am.

My username is PastorOfMuppet (damn app lying about 15 letters allowed), my player ID is 1002377001700 and my device is a HTC One 2013 running Android v.5.0.2.

Since patch 1.18.13 my game isn't accepting touch input between about 7pm and 10am local time. The "home" and "back" buttons on my phone are also touch, and work fine in-game. The exact time varies from night to night but it happens every night. I've lost functionality in the middle of a match at least three times, and I was winning damnit!

No other app on my phone is affected, and I've tried everything tech support has asked of me.

Hope to see this resolved soon.

    Apologies for the self-bump

    .

One month later and I still have the same problem. I had hopes that the expansion and consequent hotfixes would have solved it, but no such luck.

I wouldn't mind that much if it didn't affect the event cards; as it is now I don't have enough time to get four copies of  them and consequently have to spend large amounts of gems or sparks to craft them.

@Sulayo Bit of an odd one, I have heard of a phone not accepting touch input if the battery gets too hot. What you can try is go to settings, select app manager then at the top right to apps that can appear on top and remove all that are checked.

    Thank you for the reply!

I don't think it's a overheating issue, if so wouldn't it stop responding everywhere and not just one single app? For the second one, tech support suggested that but unfortunately my version of OS doesn't give me that option. Again though, why would only one app out of the dozens I have installed be affected?

@Sulayo Apps will react differently to an overheating battery, some will run fine while others will have issues.  A single app out of dozens can be affected if the one app has permission to draw over others. That it only happens at certain times and is not affecting others would point to a device issue and not an issue with the game.

    Computers. Witchcraft I tell you.

Alright, the process of uninstalling one app at a time begins.

    Thank you!

@Sulayo Rather than uninstalling the apps, start by force closing them to see if that makes any difference.
