Garden Warfare 2 - Entire Progress Lost upon reinstall

I have come across an issue upon reinstalling Garden warfare 2...

As I booted up the game after fully installing it a couple of weeks ago, I was taken through the tutorial before reaching the main hub with all of my progress gone.

I have checked my account stats and though I have retained all 900 G worth of achievements, my Hours Played has been reset to zero, which I didn't even realise was possible

I then went to Xbox support and after trying their fixes with clearing local saves and rebooting my console. With still no successful fixes, they recommended that I reach out to the developers for advanced information about the servers and cloud saves. 

After about half an hour with a live chat consultant, they have reported the bug and suggested leaving a question here for someone to get back to.

Are there any other suggestions as to how to recover the last 8 years worth of progress and content?
