Found a solution that worked for me in another post. Changed the nvidia 3d settings from auto to high performance gpu. Got rid of the Intel driver message and keyboard and mouse work now. Hope this helps.

Got to work like the guy stated above making my nvidia card the default.

Have the same issue on a Asus G750JM. Called Asus and everything they had me do still didn't fix it. Loads the game up fine but once the tutorial starts up it won't recognize any of my keyboard or mouse inputs.

Having the same issue have no idea what to do at this point because I am not able to play the game at all someone may be reimbursing me my money. Knew they should have tested the pc version when they did playstation and xbox.

RoofMeisterZ it depends on what you are using to play on. If you are on a laptop you and don't the required minimum graphics card it won't work. I'm using an Asus ROG g750jm. It has both an Intel gpu and an nvidia gpu. If you have the minimum required gpu right click on the desktop. Go to nvidia control panel then down to the manage 3D settings tab. From there switch both global and program settings from whatever it's at to high performance nvidia processer and hit apply. (make sure in the program settings tab you choose PvZ garden warfare 2) hope that helps

Can you confirm that you've tried the steps in here - http://help.ea.com/sg/article/how-to-enable-your-nvidia-optimus-graphics-card/

So far every time I've seen this Intel error it's been because the correct graphics card isn't being used. The laptop is trying to use the onboard chip which isn't good enough to run the game.

@Coment52 - do you definitely have a dedicated Nvidia chip in your laptop? If you do then the article I linked above should tell you how to make sure it's enabled.

I did everything you said. I selecter the Plants vs Zombie GW2 file chose high performance and I still get the error. I also tried to "run with graphical processor" and my nvidia was selected as the standard one. The weird thing is that I can load into the game, see all the graphics, but I can't move or shoot or even open the menu with the options. The only thing that works is the origin overlay, but all the things inside that menu also don't work. So I can't click or internet or anything else. If the problem should be my graphic card (Nvidia geforce GT 635m) why can I see all the graphics? every thing runs smooth. I see zombies running and things moving. Is there maybe a bug that disables my keyboard and mouse while I get into the game? I also keep getting the "yo need to update driver message". maybe that has something to do with it aswel?
A friend of me has a worse GPU and yet he can run the game. What can I do? I already uninstall/reinstalled al my drivers, update Nvidia drivers, set everything to high performance...

worked for me as well. I selected the game in 3D settings and forced High Performance on the EXE and it worked great. Everything is working now. Mouse, Keyboard +1
